For as long as I can remember, I’ve been painting, drawing and creating. As the daughter of an art teacher, I grew up in a home filled with any art supply you could imagine. At age seven, I put aside my Ed Emberley drawing book and "borrowed" an adult drawing book from my parent’s bookshelf. It was a head and figure tutorial with nude sketches, so I began sneaking it off the shelf figuring I would get into trouble for using it. When the cover fell off from wear and tear, my secret was out.

I studied Graphic Design in college and learned to combine my artistic talents with all of the principles of design and typography. I have continued doing fine art and believe that this practice adds to my creative box of tricks.

I have been lucky enough to call Minnesota, South Dakota, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Japan, Alaska, Rhode Island, Germany and now Arkansas home. Living in all of these places has given me the opportunity to see art and life from a variety of perspectives. I believe it makes me a better designer and a better person.

I am a proud military wife and mom of two, who eats too many gummy bears and listens to NPR continuously.
